April Update

WOW...Sorry it has been so long since an update! Life was super busy with the end of the school year. SO I will update with our happenings over the last few months! April is a super busy month for us with Mikayla's birthday and tulips and March of Dimes walk. Here is a a few highlights from the month of April!
Our month started out celebrating Mikayla's 4th Birthday! It seemed like our first week and a half of April was filled with birthday celebrations-including a big girl bike from us, day at the children's museum, a hand made dollhouse from my brother Kyle and then it ended with her Dora birthday party at Playworld on April 10th. Fun was had by all and a big thank you goes out to all our friends that were there and with us in spirit. We had a great time.
Mikayla's AWESOME Dora cake made by Amy! This was the highlight of the party! The characters were all hand made out of fondant!
Everyone having a great time!
Mikayla opening gifts!
Going down the slide with Emma! I think they both went down the slide about 50 times!
The amazing 3 story doll house made by my brother!

The furniture gifts from my mom and I to put in her doll house. My mom and I have been collecting because we knew my brother was making her the doll house. It goes to say the house is well decorated!

Mikayla riding her new Princess bike! Everytime she is riding it, I am amazed at how far she has come. I can't believe my baby is 4 already!

One of the many pictures from the Children's Museum trip we took on MIkayla's birthday. We joined the Spafford family at the museum and had a great day. This was taken in a mirror and I love the way it turned out, so just wanted to share.

We had a great surprise in the month of April my Aunt Laura from Florida came to visit for a week. It was great to spend time with her. IT had been almost 8 years since she has been here! We took a trip out to Holland to see the tulips.

Our last big event for the month was the March of Dimes walk. THis year was an amazing fundraising year. We always set a "team goal and a family goal" Our team goal was $1000 dollars and our family goal was $600. We surpassed both of them. Thanks to the amazing Agius' family for fundraising with us every year we raised close to $1400 dollars this year. Thank you to all that donated! Unfortunately the Agius' family wasn't able to join us in GR for the walk because of some sick kiddo's but they did their own walk at Hines Drive. Here is a few pictures of all of us that walked in GR! Thanks for helping us save babies like Mikayla Rose!
